Vacuum Coater is an advanced coating system that allows high-volume liquid addition (oil, enzymes, micronutrients…) deep into the core of pelleted or extruded products through a vacuum and reverse diffusion process.
This equipment is specially designed to increase oil levels up to 30% while maintaining pellet durability and product quality — a feat that conventional post-pellet oil coating systems cannot achieve.
Why Vacuum Coating?
Adding more than 5% oil before pelleting typically reduces pellet durability and cohesion.
For poultry, aquafeed, and petfood — where high energy levels and nutrient uniformity are critical — post-pellet oil addition is essential.
By vacuuming air from pellet pores and then injecting liquids under reversed pressure, nutrients are deeply absorbed into the pellet core, minimizing losses and enhancing digestibility and nutritional value.
