Vacuum Coaters

Vacuum Coater is an advanced coating system that allows high-volume liquid addition (oil, enzymes, micronutrients…) deep into the core of pelleted or extruded products through a vacuum and reverse diffusion process.

This equipment is specially designed to increase oil levels up to 30% while maintaining pellet durability and product quality — a feat that conventional post-pellet oil coating systems cannot achieve.

Why Vacuum Coating?

  • Adding more than 5% oil before pelleting typically reduces pellet durability and cohesion.
  • For poultry, aquafeed, and petfood — where high energy levels and nutrient uniformity are critical — post-pellet oil addition is essential.
  • By vacuuming air from pellet pores and then injecting liquids under reversed pressure, nutrients are deeply absorbed into the pellet core, minimizing losses and enhancing digestibility and nutritional value.
