Operating Principle
Two large-diameter crushing rollers (Ø300mm) with axial and radial grooves, made of chrome steel or chilled cast iron, rotate at low speed in opposite directions, gently crushing pellets without breaking them into powder.
A material diverter valve and grooved feeding device ensure even distribution of pellets across the full width of the crushing rollers.
The particle size of the crushed material can be precisely adjusted by changing the gap between the two rollers – this adjustment can be made manually or automatically, with accuracy up to 0.1mm via a mechanical measuring system.
Outstanding Advantages
- High crushing efficiency, uniform output particle size, minimal fines
- Hygienic design – easy to clean and maintain
- Energy-saving – high productivity with the same power consumption
- Roller protection with disc spring system to avoid damage from hard impurities
- Easy roller replacement from the front or side
- 50% more maintenance access due to extended design
- Quiet operation, low vibration, dust-tight shaft system
Key Technical Features
- Grooved shaft feeding, inverter-driven with by-pass function
- Machine housing made of powder-coated mild steel – durable and strong
- Independent drives for each roller using V-belts – easy to control roller speed
- Material diverter valve – manual or pneumatic-electrical automatic
- Level sensor and safety lock for inspection window
- Sealed external bearings – no leakage of material outside the machine
